Covid and Kink

As the "regular" world struggles with getting back to some sort of normal I have come to realize that my experience in the kink world has prepared me for this adventure. When everyone was struggling to find sanitizer or rubber gloves all I had to do was look in my toy box. Bottles of rubbing alcohol for fire play, rubber gloves for needle / blood play, face masks for "Doctor" roleplay. These are all a big part of my world. Cleaning and sanitizing are required after scenes and you wont last long at a dungeon if you don't properly sanitize the area you were just using. We have always kept hospital grade cleaning wipes and spray, face mask and gloves for our more extreme kink experiences.  Adding protocols to the dungeon took minor adjustments. A few new questions added to the vetting process and a thermal thermometer and we are as safe as we can be. This relies on our clients honesty about there day to day life and adds a small risk to the people we live with.  I am still quarantining at home which limits my interactions to my partners, roommates and their partners. I'm not alone in this situation but my closed group understands that the people we interact with could effect the others in our life. We have all made the group choice to stay apart from society a little longer.  Starting sessions again worried me a little but I truly feel we are being as responsible as we can. So far things have been a little slow picking back up but I hope as I share my feelings here that people may learn to trust me more.  Miss Jay
